6/7/11 Find a pence pick it up :)

Took a long train ride to visit Chatsworth this day. It was not look it but it was freezing and rained for part of the day...i definitely was not prepared. We could actuall take pics inside! yay, except the lighting was weird so my pics didnt turn out so well. First we toured the state rooms, and later explored the garden. Then i sketched on the train ride back home, and we went to the store and just chilled together.

so exhausted and behind on my blogging, sorry!

Just a little part of Chatsworth!

There was amazing wood carvings by Gibbons all over the place! That man is so talented, carved wood to look like lace and is always so detailed

Cool modern mirror just chillin on the old silk wall covering, totally surprised me when i walked in the room

Ready to have your mind blow away?! ok so the violin on the back door is actually just painted on there...looks crazy real huh

This is what i think the Burger King's dad looked like haha they actually have quite a few bk's here.

Im tellin ya the birds here love their photo ops! i was so close to this duck and he was just quietly quacking as i took pics of him

Willow sculpture that sprayed water everywhere :) im a fan

This garden was absolutely beautiful! and had lots of the big fat bumble bees that i love

Jumpin with joy once i made it to the center of the confusing maze. As Dora the Explorer would say "we did it!

Coins in the trough waterfall, sadly im too poor from this trip to be throwing coins away for wishes

Statue in the rain...i love it cuz he looks like he should be on a gatorade commercial! hahaha

A few of us split this cake that i had been craving all day. We downed it fast, and a old couple sitting by us thought it was so funny and entertaining. mmm it was chocolate cake, with chocolate cream filling and a harder chocolate shell... i wish i could eat one each day!

The twisted spire in Chesterfield! when they built it the wood warped and it turned out this way. Liked it so much i sketched it later that day.
