Bahhh! today was hard because I had so many pics i wanted to post but its 1 am here and my body aches. Today was started with trip to see Salisbury Cathedral which has the tallest spire in england or europe or the world haha i really cant remember but it is amazing, we toured to church and went above the ceiling up tons of stairs to see the inside of the spire and peek out at the base of it!!! Oh and we took taxis after that, we loved our driver...he was hilarious. I asked his name and he said its driver, then he said...and my middle name is crash...surname is oh sh**!! Anyway according to him he took us past Stings house which was huge but very hidden. We went to Wilton House owned and occuppied by the Earl of Pembroke who many would agree with me when I say he is really attractive. So we got a tour of some of that house and they unlocked rooms just for us and gave us free drinks and treats at the end :) love free stuff like none other. After that we ended our day with a bang.....STONEHENGE yay! so fun and so amazing. and now im so tired! night
The Salisbury Cathedral
Detail on the ceiling surrounding the courtyard
Some stained glass and a close up of the font.
Me and the funny, fast old tour guide who asked if you say where we are from like oootah, or youtah hahaha
Pic from up on the secret level
Doorway to the small stairs we had to climb....i later hit my head on that doorway
They used to let people carve stuff up in the parts above the ceiling. I saw this and wanted to add a Y to make it into my last name
Looking up into the skeleton of the spire
Cool wheel used for bringing up materials when building the spire
View of Salisbury from the top
I just love taking pick of handles....hahaha weird i know
Me looking up at the spire while on the gated ledge
Lookin through a really old beam up in the roof
I would bend over backwards to see stongehenge :) oh look it worked
It was sooo beautiful
Haha um this is just me listening to the guided tour things they gave us. could be a "can you hear me now?" ad
Wow. Today was so neat and I was glad to end it this way
